Damascus Township, Pennsylvania

Calicoon is a new residence on the banks of the Delaware river. Raised off the ground to protect from the 100 year flood, this new house has already experienced numerous floods. After September 11th New York City has mandated that its reservoirs are to remain 100% full. These reservoirs are not relieved until the last minute which during a heavy storm causes severe flooding greater than the 100 year flood.

Hopefully this problem is being addressed but as you can see, the house has handled these past floods quite well.
