Built in the 1950′s by Ken Birkemeier, a much celebrated Portland
builder and designer, this single family residence was updated to
include a usable deck over the existing carport. Years of water damage
at the brick required complete removal and rebuilding above the carport.
With a large sliding door now providing direct exterior access, the new
deck and balcony enhance the existing mid century charm while providing
a large usable deck with fantastic city views.
